The Glasgow Pavilion is a must on our favourite theatres list.

A Saturday night Glasgow audience is really something special and the auditorium (on three levels) is wonderful to look out on.

I first played the Pavilion in 1976 with the Medium Wave Band with Jules and Ollie's mum Kate.

We'd just won TV's "New Faces" and we were support to Faith Brown, the impressionist comedienne and here we are all these years later topping the bill to a packed house.

Some entertainers are a little fearful of this place but i've always thought Glasgow crowds are terrific, they let you know exactly what they think of you and if they like you,like they did us on Saturday it's the tops.

The place was rockin' !!!
